The most notable day of this week is today 29 July when we have Mars spending its last day in Leo meeting Royal star Regulus as it enters Virgo, Jupiter spending its first back in Aquarius and they oppose each other at anaretic degree aka 29º. This comes with a sense of urgency of bold actions & endeavours steeped in self love & self expression to make the most of Mars in Leo which we wouldn’t see for next two years. Jupiter opposition makes it a day of over the top actions which can be beneficial and dare I say lucky but there is a catch and its an opposition so we need to be still be careful. When Mars is conjunct Regulus, we normally are to see events linked to rulers, head of state, revolution, coups, assassinations — key events linked to popular people. This very combination with Sun would become part of the over the top yet beneficial Aquarius full moon of 22 August so we are seeing actions which are a build up to it.

We would surely miss Jupiter in Pisces though it would return after 28 December to help us again. Hopefully he is leaving us all with a parting gift. Let’s dig in !

On 29th July as Mars leaves Leo it would meet the Royal star Regulus along with making an opposition to Jupiter at its last degree of Aquarius.

Last degree of Leo is the degree of open communication, sharing and it represents “all that takes form within the mind of a man belongs to all men”. Communication of ideas must prevail over and above any pride thats coming in between to claim the credit of that information or idea. Whatever is one person’s realisation soon becomes known so the degree prompts us to share what we know and not hold it in. Sometimes we are hold back from sharing our ideas cause we are scared it would be copied or credit would be taken away and this degree represents doing it anyways cause whats within already belongs to the collective. Rudhyar described this as “Nothing is more senseless than possessiveness in the realm of ideas”.

Now most of the financial or commercial world wouldn’t agree but actions performed under this prompt us to communicate creating an urgency around sharing our epiphanies or ideas versus holding it in and we would see this further play out as Mercury will reach here 10/11 August and Sun would be here 22 August.

Mars is meeting Royal fixed star Regulus as it enters Virgo today at 4:32pm E.T. Mercury will meet this most fortunate star on 11 August 5:57pm E.T. And Sun will meet this star of power & glory on 22 August 5:35pm E.T. These are key moments of opportunity and events.

Regulus is the Lion’s heart, the Royal one, the brightest star of Leo constellation, Raphael — the Healing Archangel. Its a star of nobility, ambition, great power, status, courage, will, leadership, high & lofty ideals. Some consider it to be the most benefic star — it links one to royalty or royal properties our connection with rulers, honourable or famous people. Regulus is meant to bring military honours, success in sports and reputational success. Many successful creatives, royals & influencers like Prince, Clint Eastwood, Jim Carrey, Jackie Kennedy, Louis IV of France have their midheaven conjunct Regulus. Bill Gates has his Jupiter Pluto conjunct Regulus in house of money. J K Rowling, Tim Burton, Alfred Hitchcock had their Mercury the planet of communication conjunct Regulus. Frank Sinatra, Donald Trump, Princess Diana had their Mars conjunct Regulus. But like all royal stars which do bestow benefits Regulus also has its condition or nemesis which if not followed leads the same person to have a sudden downfall.

The nemesis of Regulus is revenge so a person having favourable actions under this influence which the current transit support, if they approach another with an attitude to take revenge they suffer from downfall. We have seen this in historical context with people having this star prominent in their charts like Trump, Princess Diana, David Cameron and this was a unique take of Brady which I have found to be true though many may not agree. I have shown a few screen shots in my video to corroborate it.

And due to ingress of Regulus into Virgo now since 2010/2011 this royal star has become significator in my view of servant leader, which I have spoken before about. A leader who leads by serving. I also think since Virgo is a feminine archetype, having regulus in Virgo has been influencing more success & prominence of women in sports.

When Mars is conjunct this royal star, we normally are to see events linked to rulers, head of state. Ebertin pointed through historical events that this conjunction usually brought on historical eventful times like revolution, coups, assassinations, demonstrations, overthrow of state heads and such events liked to “rulers” and “Kings” or “royalty” or famous people of influence over people. In August 2019 when we last saw this conjunction we witnessed the trade war announcements on tariffs on China by Trump, Amazon fires and global condemnation, Kashmir protests violence curfew blackout due to its autonomy enshrined in constitution being taken away, HK protests reached their peak.

The power, the position and standing is subjected to great success and gains with Regulus but this challenge of “revenge” is always faced and it comes as a test to the incumbent and if especially its prominent in your chart, we see that challenge come on moments like we are facing today and we would face on 11 August and 22 August.

Its a star seen in charts of powerful and successful individuals — leaders. So under this transit we not only see courageous bold actions — we see actions of great consequence. Keep that in mind as this star will seek to test by tempting one to settle the score, desire to seek revenge would be amped up. Jupiter is opposing Mars and this point — which is a powerful combination, the energy of this Mars on Regulus aspect of courage, ambition, promise of success is magnified with Jupiter but so is ego, revenge and possibility of a tough time to take the high road. Jupiter magnifies our valiant efforts even in moments of friction that it presents and it can magnify the visibility of what’s being worked on under this influence. And we would have this whole aspect repeated during the full moon of 22 August which brings considerable opportunity as well as need for caution.

As this is the star of people in the news — prominent personalities — we see resignations, consequences etc showing up when Sun would be here on last day of Leo season with the full moon of 22 August. The full moon of 22 August is conjunction Jupiter so its full of potential but it would also be time of consequences and results. Mars is right now walking those degrees making the opposition to Jupiter — beneficial, bold yet consequential actions.

Stay on the higher road, be the bigger person, step away from the temptation. Regulus pushes us to succeed, to shine, to move forward in life and that’s the best revenge — living a successful life where one has lived his or her full potential.
