Sun the ruler of Leo is meeting Moon in zodiac sign of Leo — this quintessentially connects us instinctively to the very source of life — whatever makes us feel alive, whatever or whoever is the center of our universe is seeded over next two weeks through a process of crisis we have been through. Moon in Leo is not impressionable which makes it the purest form of you. And in being reborn as a new Moon in a sign ruled by Sun — it prompts a rebirth of the “I am” of an individual — the identity, pure and uniquely belonging to oneself.

We are given the opportunity to plant a new seed of an identity enriched by the qualities of archetype of Leo — positive, assertive, noble, generous, vital, mentally strong and decisive. There is a rebirth in our capacity to lead, to initiate, to persist with that initiation and have a hopeful & determined attitude towards the life ahead of us. In a fanatic bout of need for freedom, mostly from our own old design, we are driven to refuse to recognise any limitations even if that means we might need to bash our head against the brick wall for a while before we break through. We are given a confidence to follow through by forces beyond us cause what we normally deliver through the Leo part of our chart is a gift or uniqueness we have been blessed from forces beyond us.

Leo New Moon makes choices driven by the heart but those are powerful choices with long term effects or irrevocable implications. Energy which builds to the Leo new moon is very intense and in this case explosive as we have been discussing since early July when the fixed T-Square which is giving birth finally to this new moon started first.

A fixed T-square shows an impossible choice which focuses on changing stubborn stable constant parts of our life which once did create value for us but now they have become the weight that hold our future progress back.

Whenever we have just had eclipses in the sign of the new moon — there is a “not again” element to those new moons. Not again cause we have already had about 1.5 years of eclipses in it over second half of 2017 and 2018 in it so we feel this area of our life has already gone through so much tribulations we couldn’t take any more change in it. But somehow the process doesn’t end with the eclipses. Cause these kind of new moons are offshoots of those eclipses delivering part of the change those eclipses promised long term in your life. The last eclipse in Leo happened on 21 Jan 2019, or happened at critical degree just as the full moon in Aquarius of 22 August 2021 would be. This month could see us reversing the tables or priorities from what panned out with the 21 Jan 2019 eclipse which was activated since end Oct 2018. The balance of what you want and need for your well being & pride versus what we need to do for the welfare of everyone else some might call it the balance being proud & brave versus being timid & not ruffling the feathers and some might call it being egoistic versus being all accommodating — will come again in focus in coming days.

We choose differently this time, its Leo season, we choose ourself no matter how selfish or egoistic it looks to anyone else. Cause you cannot lead from a place of weakness. Uranus squares this New Moon, causing impulses, sudden events, sudden upsets, disruption of routine, sudden argument or separation, breakdown of restrictions, breakdown of mechanical things, ego conflicts & disagreements. Its capable of exciting the masses to rebel against the rulers, bring revolution and even war. Its rules radioactive elements, inventions, geniuses, brain waves, telepathy, occult and astrology. We would see both breakthroughs and breakdowns on the road to it especially in next two weeks. We would be quick to jump to conclusions, react negatively to whats said to us as we want nothing to block what we want for ourself. There is a need to set free and move forward differently, we crave excitement and can act totally out of character. This aspect specifically affects our nerves and blood pressure as well as stokes anger within us. Especially fixed signs around 16º would experience this very vividly as I described in your monthly readings. Passions and emotions run high and we have a choice on how we want to direct them. The harder it feels, the more the need to shake things up and change things in the old archaic parts of our life. Curbing your need to change isn’t a solution, its like holding something in your fist while its exploding. Understanding the why of the volatility you feel is key. Sometimes with this aspect we are asked to choose — choose freedom or expensive things, independence or warmth of love, choose following your new vibration or following the consistent path that has led to success in the past, be the light & love that enthrals by the charms or be the one that burns it all down cause they just want to explode out of anything fake and restrictive. This is a contradiction that plays out within all of us especially autonomy versus intimacy and we always assume one or the other role while blaming our partners or others for the other.

May be if the love for what we are creating is unconditional it would become much more easier to go for it despite the freedom or wildness it takes away from us. Then you could put your wild self out on the stage without the fear of how you are received or you could walk the path never walked with the flare and boldness of the one that rules over the hearts of many purely by being boldly in their own element.

Creative in us who wants to live in passion may need to adjust to the expense or cost that would come at or accept that what we derive security and value from would need to change.

Some very worthy risks are taken when we accept that what we owned doesn’t own us and what we created in the past was always meant to be the ground on which the next level of challenges are faced. Rooted in this Uranus square whatever new start we seed with Leo new moon is to advocate or bring about a change at large.

Uranus is standing still around 15º Taurus about to go retrograde on 20 August. It represents a phase in our life when our previous efforts have gotten us to some level of social success in the past but “nothing fails like success”. After an initial success — or perhaps after long period of success — we forget the need to constantly recreate and reinvent.

Uranus leaves parts of our life unusuable like a nuclear reaction — you cannot ever habitat that place ever again, cannot readjust to relive it, replant seeds of anything new on same ground cause whatever will come out of that ground it has eliminated would be poisonous. Its all rendered useless to move on from. So we do not keep trying to return. Its a sign to move to next level of frequency — you do that with total physical, mental and psychological reboot.

Once we accept that, the needed courage is given to meet the crisis which we need to get through to get there and it becomes a phase we must get through versus our whole existence. This degree of Taurus reveals “Character under adverse circumstances” which we would be asked to reveal in coming days. We would transition to a new level where we would have to accept crisis and go through it because on that soil of that crisis our higher consciousness will be built.

𝗬𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

This is happening when Mercury in Leo, our mind is undergoing the Yod activation we spoke of like all planets in Leo would go through as they transition to Virgo. We would experience this in fullness with the 19/20 August Sun in Leo opposition to Jupiter in Aquarius which is the activating planet. And we would register the information coming through to us on 10 August when Mercury in Leo opposes Jupiter. This is illumination of the mind to what we didn’t see before and for some of us it will open the path we didn’t see that existed for us. These moments are the ones we would look back as the critical moments of bend in the road when our life took a turn in a different direction and like all births these do not come with ease. Though for them to come to pass we need to embrace the messy process its taking us through. The temporary exhilaration of release, the moment in which most giving birth seem to see God or a version of their own higher power, shows you — you are capable of much more than you give yourself the credit for. Its tough to carry that euphoria for life but it normally lives in form of what you allowed yourself to create when you allowed yourself to trust you — we all have those in our life — something or someone you birthed when you finally believed in your capabilities. In these birthing pain moments of Leo new moon try to remember that version of you, cause you are only becoming more of that and not less.
