On 23 July 10:37pm E.T. Sun and Moon would oppose each other illuminating 1º26’ of Aquarius, that would be 24th for most of the world outside the US. This full moon would influence us for the next two weeks. There are two full moon in Aquarius this year — one is this and another is on 22 August at 29º37’ Aquarius. Together they bring us one step closure to what we seeded with the Saturn Jupiter conjunction of 21 December 2020 which is the new structure of our growth for the next 20 years. The Great Conjunction of Jupiter Saturn on 21 December 2020 which was the closest and most powerful conjunction of these two planets since 1623 marks move to new economic cycle and new material reality. We are seeding a new material reality for each one of us as part of that and this Aquarius full moon gives the first deliverable on to the road to that. Its not the end destination, its a step to it.

This full moon comes with sudden ideas, brain waves, culminations, conclusions, launches and evolution that are unencumbered and largely free of influences cause they are forward looking. They do come with the intent to influence and benefit the masses but it doesn’t come inspired or influenced by them.
Its a vision, a desire, a dream of the one we wish to leave behind.
As reflected in the sentiments of the famous words of the one who has made sure none of us ever look up from our screens “I want to put a ding in the universe”. Don’t we all. With this full moon we are inspired to and it may take time but by God won’t we all try. Aquarius is both endurance and disruption all rolled in one brilliant package — we would need both and we would see both.

That’s what Yod activations do — they bring us through a crisis to a path we didn’t even know existed but once we see it the chain of life events we have been through start making sense. But those over the top energies would be balanced during this whole period by the two Aquarius full moons we are going to experience that try to make sense of these experiences and being an Air Moon try to help us comprehend it fully, see ahead of time on how to use it for benefit of all and create a more balanced dialogue around it versus getting overwhelmed by it all. Having a full moon in Aquarius before and after this event — which Yod activations would bring in August — indicate that the vision and culminations or long term projects and dreams we are working on — they would go through a period of evolution in this time. What we start off and seemingly deliver now with 23/24 July may be different from what we finally end up with on 22 August full moon — there would be a fundamental restructuring of our vision and our goals due to the events leading to 22nd August.
It doesn’t make the 23/24 July full moon moot, but rather not the final destination as a lot will change between the 23/24 July Aquarius full moon and 22 August full moon. We would not only have had the Yod activation which is normally a turning point, we would also have had the Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius reaching their retrograde mid point through opposition to Sun on 2 and 19 August — both critical points of realisation and change. This ofcourse brings a lot of volatility in global events, in our personal endeavours and collective angst but it brings us closer to what we want to leave behind. Uranus standing still in August will shatter a lot of old structures and dependencies coming through sudden events leading to 19 August.

While every full moon is a conclusion of past 6 months of efforts, some of the moons do activate sensitive degrees. Both the full moon of 23/24 July and 22 August activate the eclipses we had in Aquarius on 15 Feb and 27 July 2018. Aquarius eclipses bring sudden shifts and changes. You can look back to how your life changed through sudden events around that time in 2018. This specific full moon right now deals with the 27 July 2018 lunar eclipse which was activated in Sept 2018 so 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟴 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄. That in 2018 was the longest lunar eclipse of 21st century, Mars closest to earth since 2003 and this is just a full moon so impacts can be parallel but intensity is not comparable.
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹
The full moon of 23/24 July is happening at the degree of “The concretisation of an ideal” where an individual is immortalised by a great enterprise he or she creates which has collective impact. Aquarius at this degree was described by Rudhyar to “bring idealised noble ideal into concrete form of beauty and significance”.

Aquarius has the contradiction embedded in its DNA with Saturn(structure) and Uranus(disruption) as its ruling planets. We find this blend of energy in full force over next two weeks. I spoke of it in January when this whole process started. Too much has been put up for far too long and seems there is a bit of urgency to change it all in one swoop. Saturn Jupiter in Aquarius along with Uranus making an aspect to Saturn in Aquarius this year is activating this Universal Womb that per Hindu mythology gave birth to the world as we know it — “The emergence of new mutations according to the great rhythms of the cosmos”. New mutuation of mankind — “𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙖𝙜𝙚” as Rudhyar called it.
Similarly there is a new mutation, a new form of you taking shape. If we haven’t moved with the evolutionary forces or any part of our life has not moved with it — whether its our vision, our goals, people in our life, our network, our way to connect with others, our impact on others, our mindset — we would be shown that through dissonance and release at this time.
We have full year of Saturn square Uranus — as I said at the start of the year, there will be forces wanting to change the old structure of society and there will be rules made for and against them to contain the chaos. Astrologers consider Moon weak in Aquarius, I think those who say that do not know how to use it — Moon and Aquarius have a way to balance each other out when they are together — we are objectively able to look at emotional patterns. We are able dial down both the emotional needy side of us and the fanaticism or skepticism or even offensively different side of us.

Do not expect Moon in Aquarius to emote and empathise with you — you are using it all wrong if you do that and then we get into personal scuffles with loved ones. Rather expect it to give you answers that you need and brilliance that opens the locks of our clouded minds. Expect it to serve you truth objectively with a can of friendly beer. Expect it to permit all your instincts to be fairly developed so what you present to others is not so jarring and bizarre to alienate others but rather something different yet clad in a more charming and alluring cover that brings the collective together rooting for you and not against you. Atleast it has that potential.
In our individual capacity this cycle in 2021 will teach us to stop being so afraid of our own uniqueness. Where we place doubts and even fear of acceptance — radical confidence of Uranus needs to be placed. Uranus creates this inexplicable force of detaching from anything other than authentic that you will feel a physical dissonance where you try to suppress your own self. Its called going against your own current. It manifests as inflammation, sleeplessness, dissonance in the body. Uranus will stand still in August and we would feel that dissonance very strongly if we are going against our own current. This Full moon and 22 August full moon will bring a few closures where you notice those.
Moon in Aquarius presents a chance to show up with that uniqueness to others in dare I say even popular form even though it may not even be its intent but uniqueness becomes more palatable due its simplicity with Moon in Aquarius. Closures if any can be objectively handled.

January and February cycles of Leo and Aquarius moons helped us bring to closure some of the chapters which were fake chapters which began in mid 2019. It also gave us opportunity to instead seed something new in place of them. Now we move forward on those seeds — help them grow, give them the support from others, show ourselves to others, put those seeds on a platform no matters how unsure we feel within, find the unique tribe that we know would walk that different life path with us and release the ones who have outlived their karma in our life. Life is too short to keep living someone else’s vision and dreams even if they are of the ones who cultivated you so far cause its time to move forward and not look back.

Aquarius full moon brings out the innovator, the idealistic, the humanitarian, the instinctual brilliance and broad mindedness in us as individuals and particularly as a society as its the sign of the collective. The inspirational philanthropists, the diversity champions, the civil right/women right/ child welfare liberators, the scientific/space/digital discoverers — the evolutionary are woken up and they come out to display what they have got to move the collective to next stage of human evolution. Some do it by product demos and releases, while some would do it through movements, strikes and protests screaming “Non Profit”. Political party changes and government changes come up during this time.
While Leo Sun reminds us of our self love, ego, artistic colourful individuality, Aquarius Moon tries to make sure there is a socially available version of us and our talents that can be consumed by others who can benefit from it. And also that we are rewarded for what we seemingly create in our individual madness or brilliance. No man is an island and ego or pride has its place but all our abstract ideas need a palatable mode of communication, every unique talent needs an apt demo, every innovation needs a launch pad, every proud or shy individual creator should have an extrovert friend or friends who help them bring their progressive arts and ideas to social platform, to assume a place in the world’s network, recognise that they can be supported by others and see what kind of influence their unique creations can have on others.
While we all take a step to pay our dues to our existence through contributing in our individual capacities to forward evolution of humankind through launches, publications, our own ding in the universe. We also focus on rewards, returns, gains and whether the vision we have corroborates to the returns we want in life. Everyone tries to make a wave to influence the collective. Mind is a very powerful tool and it becomes very evident at this time.
Ruling the networks, the electricity that runs through our nerves and nerves of society — Aquarius full moons are very stimulative and can be very inspiring and imaginative but used negatively they can be radicalised to create an anxious movement instead of creating a constructive change, inspiration can swing either ways — clashes are possible as we try to find balance. Its the sign whose existence is rebellion after all. Having a different view, a different way to feel comfortable will sit in stark contrast with another and it can show up as a form of rebellion, in today’s world it seems just having a different perspective is rebellion.
The pleasure industry, entertainment industry, high finance, risky investments, political powers or rich countries or benefit of few can clash or would need to be balanced with what the collective well being needs or with humanitarian causes, environmentalists and innovators. Saturn and Uranus the two rulers of Aquarius continue to clash — they continue to show the fight between the rules, administration, structures and restrictions versus our need to set free, innovate, create new ideas and discover new grounds — giving us both the year of the rebellion & restrictions as well as the year where our ahead of time ideas and ideas that just intuition are forced to give concrete forms. All tangible strides in advancement of human evolution involve this and we are in the middle of it.
Great works of the mind can be created under its influence dealing with tangible creativity — normally great ideas and epiphanies arrive which should be put to work. Its the time of the underdog and its time for freedom of expression. Internet, computers, digital world is ruled by Aquarius as is astrology and astronomy or space exploration and its time to bring out whatever we have been working on for past 6 months or since the Saturn Jupiter conjunction of 21 December. Its time for conclusion, for results, for closures and for things to come to light.
Its happening at the time when we would experience the “Full Mercury” as well on 1st August so lot of information come to light around that time, things come in open and we do examine the experimentation of past 40+ days to make sense of it. Projects are brought to conclusion and goals or visions are reviewed to be sure we want to continue to go that way.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲
As I mentioned in my July reading where I covered this full moon overview — Whatever is birthed will not be deemed practical or exact or enough cause the Virgo Venus would have her nose up saying ah so expensive or not well detailed or not pretty enough. Its time to get it out versus waiting for it to be perfect. Quality might feel to be compromised a bit. It also means we could face some issue of acceptability, love and affection especially from loved ones especially female. An imbalance in support from those in your life whom you love or who are close to you can be felt at this time. Do not try to find that comfort in food, carry on — this is a brief discomfort and it would pass. Nothing starts as perfect and this is the first draft of our life. Lack of acknowledgement we normally feel in this moment from another is usually our own self criticism or need for perfection playing outside. This is you not loving enough on you and Leo season is all about changing that isn’t it. What we are trying to do socially or for our goals can conflict with what our loved ones need from us in some ways which can create friction at this time and a need for middle path. Our two roles in life may not be blending with well with each other.
I am working on my site for a while cause I am trying to do it myself and I love the control it gives me over my own content (oh Scorpio Scorpio). From health perspective though we need to still take care of our nerves especially if we have any underlying circulatory issue through the veins. Pressure shifts could be sudden and weather can suddenly shift from hot to cold or to electric storms. Aquarius rules electricity and lightening. With Uranus standing still in August, we are about to get into earthquake risk season but with Aquarius its more of lightening bolt, storms, destructive winds and sudden cold weather which we need to watch out for now. Ground your electricity or just be careful on it as there can be sudden electric incidents during this time. If you feel too wired within you dial down, ground yourself, reduce your exposure to devices and stimulants like coffee (Screams “what did she just say about my coffee!!!”). Economy and stock market normally enters a very volatile period.

As I mentioned in my July reading, this full moon is happening at Fixed Star Altair, the star of wealth and power. Altair is the flight of the Eagle, aiming to go higher and in bolder fashion than anybody has before, to soar to unexplored heights.

This is a bold, valiant undertaking which happens through risk taking and dogged determination. Symbolised by Eagle which was used by great powers like Roman Empire and by United States as their seal or logo representing super power. This is a star of power, success and leadership for human relationships, peace, human rights . It represents willingness to explore new ideas and frontiers. We do not want to do what everyone has already hashed out and done with — we want to contribute whats our unique perspective and that involves taking some risks and even facing some rejections in the process to it. But this is not just a quest for oneself, its also for others. Considering the star has quality of Mars as well — it would involve swift actions and boldness of action need to become integral part of our emotional reaction to the obstacles that will come on this path.
We have to remember the very existence of Aquarius part of us is rebellion so its the discovery of whats not just different about us — its also about bringing it out — on a platform, to large set of masses and its about showing yourself — not for the show of it but because hiding it will hurt the well being of others as we all have something to contribute. Considering the very existence of that part of us is rebellion — not everyone is going to like what they see. But our unique perspective, great imagination, ability to see trends ahead of time or clairvoyance, keen ability to research the strange or ancient or different is much more passionate and hardy than the whole of us — it would get through and with star we have power to influence and benefit the collective with it.
𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Aquarius at this degree represents military might and power. Yes we would continue to see the rebellion and the new tech, crypto fight against regulators etc — all the themes we have spoken in detail in our Saturn Square Uranus reading (link below)
But we also move to individual country and its military might here.
Remember Pluto will come into Aquarius in March 2023 — what is ahead of time would become the source of power and whosever controls tech and space would control every known resource. Power structures would move from earth to air — ideas brains innovations like space travel, AI rule the world versus physical or fixed assets like oil or minerals. Positive could be more liberty and less controls by centralised or totalitarian structures — more equal distribution of wealth to people. Are we talking of Universal basic income or more money from stock market to retail, may be both. Saturn and Jupiter this year and next would of course pave the way for it. Innovation and revolution though happens in constraints with Saturn in Aquarius. Saturn in Aquarius both constraints our air our freedom as well as structures our innovation to make it enduring.
Both US and China have their Moon in Aquarius, Pluto in Aquarius would bring people uprising. As for the current full moon it falls on the ascendant and Moon of China impacting its people and its businesses.
