Mars Oppostion to Uranus & The Eclipse

Our War path to a Radically New Direction

On 17th Nov at 12:23pm E.T. which would be 18th November for Asia, we would have Mars in Scorpio make an exact opposition to Uranus in Taurus at 12º16’. This is the explosive energy we have been speaking of for a while which has been active for a week and would continue to be active for another week.

This explosive energy was embedded in the new moon in Scorpio we have been under the influence of since 4 November whereby we are forced to breakout and unexpressed parts of us and our desires they come out in surprising ways. Where a conscious expression of what you are supressing in name of your true wants and desires is required else they come in your face in form of external manifestation that are rash and accident prone. The repressive collective emotional energy that the Scorpio new moon has woken up, needs a physical expression with this.

Yes we are unpredictable, impatient, unreliable, hurried sitting surrounded by myriads of half completed projects and incomplete chores. But we are also brimming with courage to ace some of our original, dynamic pioneering ideas — we are revolutionary looking in our stubborn unyielding ways for what we want and we must have. Following the impulses of our desires and climbing the emotional volatility that comes with it, taking risks we would normally not take if we stopped for a second to think through… sometimes somethings need to be done cause we know somewhere we would regret not doing them. And Uranus brings truth through its share of dissatification of the fake life we have been living. Sometimes despite the comfort some things bring they need to end cause they are fake and you know it.

The Taurus moon and eclipse thats almost upon us is trying to stabilise this emotional energy but it’s fairly uncontainable, as strong Taurus moon is, Scorpio Mars is strong too. They are both persistent and unyielding — one wants to follow the conscious path and other wants to make sure the unconscious desires aren’t left unfulfilled. This non comformist energy is arrogantly looking down at its own old ideals, morals and standards which got her where she needed to be in the now yet she strongly believes thats the very cage thats kept her limited yet safe. Can we channel this indomitable will towards a constructive outlook with the eclipse afoot.

Not without going through the chaos Mars Uranus opposition brings. The 19th November eclipse will only fully manifest in Feb 2022. Before that we would need to get over the Uranus process initiated by this opposition.

So yes we can constructively use this energy by making sure the initiations we are doing as part of Scorpio new moon include the radical changes Uranus in Taurus wishes to bring. Shifts of material nature — it would require us to let go a structural part of ourself which blocks our ambition, abundance, creativity. Its not the enemy this volatility, its our friend cause its telling us that the acute anxiety and fear we feel as we leave the secure shores and walk the alien territory is cause we have left so many parts of ourself dead dormant untried for far too long. And as they are taking over, its almost like our traditional parts are screaming as they die gasping for air. Uranus opposition always comes with separation from something that was once of value to us. The old is fully demolished but the new world hasn’t yet fully emerged. And the thing is the “new” world is still an ideal and its manifestation wouldn’t exactly be as the model in our mind. Its impossible to live it that way, we know that which is why sometimes this high comes with an immense disillusionment and disappointment at the onset. Cause in our uneasiness we scream “where is it“. We wobble. Too much has changed too radically, unexpectedly we are radically free with limitless possibility, no more bound by traditions yet not yet sure of our alternative pattern that would replace the old ground we stood on.

Welcome to the Uranian chaos.

And its visible isnt it, the oppositions don’t hide the chaos. I have a square between Mars and Uranus, square we can hide, no one knows you are half butt crazy but you, well mostly no one knows. But in oppositions the whole world sees it — you announce it from the rooftop — I am leaving, I quit, I will do this, do that, you are dead to me etc. The insecurity follows those pronouncements, cause the new security cannot yet be recreated in the new. That very inner insecurity hangs in the air — you see it on people’s face cause we are emitting it like a non stop talking walking screaming scrambling radio stations — we are transmitting that nervous energy and then it feeds itself cause we feel no one thinks we can do it and then we lash out cause we feel everyone else is blocking us. We cannot accept the superficial niceties anymore, we notice the hollowness of it all. We are very acutely aware that no one else has changed and its just us going through it all — its a lonely feeling. We don’t help ourself by continuing to measure ourself still against the measures of the old world even after we have left it. Its a process, it takes a year for Uranus to be done with each cycle of disconnecting us from a specific good bye we have done and for ones who are dealing with this in their natal charts with planets or points around 12º of fixed signs — its a two year process at minimum — assimilating this change.

Uranus transits are light bulb moments — the retrograde cycle we are in right now is the process of realisation within us where we have burried our own subconscious. This particular cycle of Uranus began in May 2021 though the long term process started back in 2018. But the sliver we have to give up in the now — in this annual cycle from May 2021 to May 2022 — we stand in the middle of that clearly seeing the two lives we have lived or are living — depending on where you are in the process. Our perceptions have changed but not the reality. Even if we have taken physical actions to move to the new, we haven’t torn down the context of our old life. Right now with the opposition the ideal we wish to create is challenged. In that challenge sits brilliance — cause the ideas you generate in this opposition they serve you for years to come — its pure creative output of the truth within you — your true self speaking louder than ever and next couple of years will go in your physical self trying to create all the ideals you are generating right now. Split off from conscious, some might say far from reality, your innovative, truly ambitious and creative side comes to life. Yet we are so anxious and frustrated with not being able to find the safety in it yet, that most of try to not enjoy it but rather feel nervous around it and even try to suppress its potential.

Effort and work required to give shape to this pure source of inspiration will come. There is potential to realise this spark of genius you see in the moment of enlightenment that is this volatile opposition. Yes I know being split from mundane shores of safety can be ungrounding. But whats the alternate ? we cram on the ground, we do that all the time. Where is the magic in that, where is the genius in that ? Yes you would go for some impossible goals and ideals and yes they would prove to be whim by the end of Uranus cycle or we would learn to assimilate that ideal in real life especially if they are dealing with your personal planets. But thats the process of genius. We would also be right now breaking some weak old ideals which we are living especially linked to resources, abundance, power, creativity. You would already be seeing some of those old fake ideals crumble. Uranus challenges us to try things at the risk of being a failure. Uranus Mars contacts especially bring to life our hunger for ambition for life for our fair share of the pie. We are given radical confidence that something that we always thought is only possible for others can be ours too.

During these moments of opposition we are asked to act in a way which shows we have departed from our old fake life or ideals and are ready to move to our new radical direction. There is a clear physical departure from the fake. Liberate yourself by acting like you are already there, that you belong to the new world you wish to create, act like there is no inhibition to your ambition, creativity and abundance. Act with the freedom you do have and with the self determination aroused by the passion that new ideal evokes in you. And know that the objectivity, the genius, the illumination Uranus is giving comes with its share of existential crisis, madness, anarchy, a bit of tyranny and even an air of elitism or alienation from the mundane. But your actions right now as much as they suffer from resistance — they are going to help you get to give an ego structure to your new ideals. They are the vehicle for manifesting your creative imagine — so do not stop in your tracks as much as resistance feels heavy. Know where Uranus is transiting right now — that part of your chart would be where you would manifest your creative genius till April 2026. And Mars in Scorpio is your ticket or physical vehicle to it.
