On 30th May Sun and Moon come together at 9º03’ Gemini to form an unaspected new moon at the site of 30th Nov 2020 lunar eclipse gifting us a new start where something had presumably ended. Its purely instinctual — we feel we do not have an expression or a way to express a new thought, a new idea, a new self expression — it may seem like an impossibility. You have it but you do not believe it, yet now you have become it. Its like when I started writing this article, I didn’t believe I could write it yet when I started to write it — I realised it was all already written inside of me.
30 Nov 2020 we had a lunar eclipse at this degree which was activated around 6 August 2021. These are the chain of events which now come for a new start — look back to your discussions, new skills you acquired on the way to this journey, the new mindset that came about through it, new associations you made to bring it about and the new air you were preparing to breath in for yourself. Its time to breath it in — yet you seem to not believe it yet that you are unencumbered and free to be it.

A New Moon — Sun and Moon together are prefect opportunities to seed something new & next two weeks would be dedicating to nurturing & registering that we have that opportunity which we possibly have given up a lot for in 2020 and acquired the tools, the skills, the foundation for in 2021. Gemini new moon is the new beginning of a skilful mind — writers, travelling sector, fun, wit, communication devices & tools, the creators, the very wind around us gets a makeover. We shift the way we move as we change the way we think of ourself. As this coincides with Mercury about to go direct — this could be very much a rebirth of our mindset and the skills we use to be commercially successful. That was the whole purpose of period from May 2020 to Jan 2022 when north node or Rahu was in Gemini — to shift our mindset and skill set. It didn’t come easy as it came with loss of faith and loss of things or detachment from teachers mentors thoughts we truly believed in like religion. Having been through that process, knowing the writing on the wall — this new moon is an amazing opportunity to put our own unique footprint in the new world we now live in. It infuses specially new energy in our communication and the way we work with others — teachers, learning, education sector, writers, creative skilful arts created with hands & minds, publishers, travelling sector, traveler within us, our nerves, our lungs, hands arms speech, our voice gets a fresh hit of energy. New air.
But as Saturn is about to go retrograde — it stands still making a hard aspect with the ruler of this new air stifling the new air a bit. Does it tame the wild mind — structure it or does it suppress our belief in it. We would have to see for ourself. Cause this inhibition is internal not external as much as we can blame external factors for now not being able to do what we have been setting out to do since 2020. It needs structure, it needs longevity, it needs work but its not impossible anymore. It was never impossible but any perceptions that stood in the way have been cleared due to events of past two years. We are infact about to enter a brilliant period when all of — Mercury, Venus and Mars would be in their own sign — in their domain — at home — all our personal facilities working at their best from ~13 June to 22 June. Even now Mars and Venus are already in their own signs. This gives us at an individual level all the tools we need to move forward on this brilliant start.

Gemini is a sign of duality, its never one thing and one thing only. Its about many things that interest you and stimulate your mind. This is the degree of “A Quiver Filled with Arrows” — it implies multiple targets as well as it implies that we have all the tools to move forward. Its the degree of “conquest” — the biggest conquest this degree urges us to do is over our own ego. At its best Gemini archetype do not take themselves seriously — they are mutable — playing with their options. Getting over yourself and moving forward is deeply emphasised here as you play full on for your new start. It also implies that we would need to overcome something within us to move forward — could be a self imposed restriction — could be a habit of constraining stifling our own air that we have acquired. This is also emphasised by the fact that Mercury — ruler of this new moon — is turning direct conjunct Algol — the symbol of beheaded Medusa — symbol of draining venom & dysfunction which was brought to light with the Scorpio eclipse recently. A battle of dysfunction — mostly within — is won to move forward on this very lucrative and beneficial new start unencumbered from the past and other people’s influence. This is a degree of immense skill as well — where intuition meets hands and tools — the freer your mind, as brilliant your creation. With Pluto making positive aspect to ruler of this new moon — we are given the gift of focus — ability to see the forest and not the trees. Use this to come out of the woods if thats where the eclipse season took you. Its far from dry as Neptune makes the only and a creative aspect to this new moon — you know this new start serves a higher purpose of your soul through it and you could if dare I say serve the collective or the divine through it. Neptune also emphasises — for the sake of love of it — doing it for the sake of love of it instead of logic thinking it to death. Its also clearly shown by the brilliant star — Aldebaran that this new moon falls on making it all the more special. Aldebaran is one of the four royal fixed stars — each of these offer possibility of great success as is emphasised by new starts under this new moon. But yes — each of these four fixed stars come with a condition — a price of this success. With Aldebaran the challenge is one of integrity. This star is a degree of Mars and I have observed an air of rebellion or going against the grain to the new starts linked to it. And as we go against the grain, there is a test of integrity as that going against the grain clearly comes at a cost like Galileo Galileo stating sorry Earth isn’t the centre of the universe inviting risk of severe punishment at the hands of Church — yet he said it. There is a moral dilemma that comes with this and a challenge to be able to live your own truth. There are repercussions for working on your instincts and doing what you feel is right. Yet this star makes this new start a “bull’s eye” — a precise & highly effective achievement. Provided we stay true to ourself & not be afraid to go against the grain or worst cower under our old ego concept. We end up fighting a righteous fight under it with our words, with our creativity, with our talents.
This fixed star is associated with Persian God Mithra — the one who holds people responsible to sanctity of their contracts — the judicial figure. The God of Justice, contract and war. God of oath and hence punisher of those who broke that oath — we are run through tunnel of fire to show our morals and sanctity of our objectives here as well as held accountable to our contracts. At the risk of loosing everything — which is the challenge normally presented here — we are tested and honor is restored to those who pass the test of integrity, honor and purity of objective.
This makes this new moon apt for seeding new contracts based on integrity and sanctity of documents / contracts / words — we do have Mercury though the ruler of this new moon retrograde so I would suggest to wait till Mercury visits this degree around 20th June — we would also have Jupiter make a positive aspect making that a more apt time for actual execution of contracts though ideas can be seeded now and formalised around 20th June.
I haven’t been able to confirm this but some astrologers in 1900s established that if it didn’t rain during activation of this fixed star — it could bring drought. Food shortage and famine are all emphasised by Uranus in Taurus and North Node in Taurus conjunction in July which can push us to new form of agriculture, finance, currency etc but I cannot say for surety if this new moon participates / contributes to this theme. Aldebaran is also said to have quality of Mars and considered to be a war star giving courage and ferocity to fight a just fight.

Nov 2020 something ended or an information comes to surface or you have an epiphany during the eclipse — its a bend in the road that takes you on a different journey. In August 2021 we move to the next level of progression of this news that came to surface or the ending or conclusion that happened — something is given cause something ended. Now we have a brilliant new start devoid of anyone else’s influence — pure, fun, brilliant and full of talent. Free from influences of the past. New Mind. A new skill, a new journey that now you are free from invisible shackles to pursue and perform on. A new beginning on 7th house cusp — as this would be for United States — can bring subjects linked to war, arms, international affairs, alliances, law and treaties to focus for a new beginning over next two weeks. In terms of US elections — this year mid years are happened on the day of lunar eclipse with Uranus — a surprising outcome. Nov 2020 republicans lost the elections, August 2021 — I am not an American voter but you can see if anything happened linked to Trump or elections around that. We could see more of that these two weeks. The Mid June full moon would also be key for Trump.
This new moon also falls on the Sun of Victor Orbán — PM of Hungary and Saturn current transiting the North Node of Hungry opposing Moon in Leo in 8th house of the country can bring financial hardship & overall tough time for the people of nation.
European Union overall has stellium in Scorpio and with south node in Scorpio till July 2023 and Saturn in Aquarius making a hard aspect to all those planets in Scorpio we will continue to see overall tough time for the countries in EU. So as Victor Orbán decides to go against the grain with this new moon — his objectives would surely be tested. In Nov 2020 Orbán had vetoed the EU budget.
